TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET AVALANCHE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE DASHBOARD FRACTURED ABOVE THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THERE WAS A CRACK THAT EXTENDED APPROXIMATELY FOUR TO FIVE INCHES LONG. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 56,200.
