Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS BEGAN TO FLASH AND THE BATTERY SAFER MODE WARNING LIGHT DISPLAYED. THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO LOSE POWER AND STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE ALTERNATOR WAS FAULTY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,852.
