Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 JEEP CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE CONTACT SMELLED A BURNING ODOR IN THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT PULLED OFF THE HIGHWAY AND NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. AFTER EXITING THE VEHICLE, FLAMES SPEWED FROM UNDER THE HOOD. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE AND FILED A REPORT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FIRE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
