TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 CHEVROLET CORVETTE. WITHIN TWO MILES OF DRIVING THE VEHICLE, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED WITHOUT WARNING. IN ADDITION, WHILE IN REVERSE, THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD SEIZE WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 125,000.
