TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, AN EXTREMELY LOUD NOISE EMITTED FROM THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE BOTH ENGINE LIFTERS WERE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000.
