Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE STABILITRAC WARNING LIGHT SUDDENLY FLASHED OFF AND ON. THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY SHUT OFF, CAUSING THE POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES TO STOP FUNCTIONING. AFTER THE INCIDENT, THE VEHICLE COULD NOT BE RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER, BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT YET DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 29,000.
