Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2016 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING AROUND A BEND AT APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A TELEPHONE PHONE. THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE NECK, BACK, RIGHT ARM, AND LEFT KNEE THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 106.
