Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET AVALANCHE. THE CONTACT NOTICED A CRACK ON THE CORNER OF THE DASHBOARD NEXT TO THE AIR BAG. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE 2007 CHEVROLET AVALANCHE FOR THE SAME ISSUE. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DASHBOARD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83,000.
