Consumer Description

NORMAL CITY DRIVING WHEN I START OUT FROM A COMPLETE STOP AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS IT GIVE A HARD BUCK LIKE ITS DEAD THE TRANSMISSION INDICATOR LIGHT GOES OUT THEN RIGHT BACK ON. THE REST OF THE SHIFTING GOES SMOOTH IT ONLY SEEMS TO BE FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR. ALSO MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND STAYS ON NOW. I LOOKED UP THE PROBLEM ON LINE THE ECM BCM WAS REPROGRAMED IN 2011 BY JOHNSON HONDA STUART FLORIDA. I CALLED THE DEALER TODAY THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY NEVER HEARD OF ANY PROBLEM INVOLVING THE SECONDARY SHIFT BEARING BUT YET ALL MY SIGNS THE CAR ID DOING POINTS TO THIS PROBLEM. THE SIGHT I VISITED FOR THE INFORMATION SAID TO REFER TO IT A RECALL # R89. HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME.
