Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD F-150. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WITH THE BRAKE PEDAL DEPRESSED, THE VEHICLE SPONTANEOUSLY ACCELERATED WHEN PLACED IN REVERSE. THE ACCELERATION LASTED FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 SECONDS. THE FAILURE RECURRED, BUT WHILE IN FORWARD GEAR APPROXIMATELY THREE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, BUT THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 31,000.
