Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD SHOOK WHENEVER THE VEHICLE WAS IDLING. THE SHAKING INCREASED DURING ACCELERATION. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO IDENTIFY THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE, BUT INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE SHAKING WAS A COMMON ISSUE WITH THE YEAR, MAKE, AND MODEL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 111,000.
