Consumer Description

ANOTHER MODEL S WITH A BROKEN FRONT SUSPENSION STEERING KNUCKLE. HTTP://WWW.COPART.COM/US/EN/LOT/23161406 THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE WHEEL AND NO IMPACT DAMAGE TO THE CAR THAT WOULD EXPLAIN THE COMPONENTS SNAPPING OFF. BY MAGNIFYING THE PHOTOGRAPH OF THE FRONT RH WHEEL IT IS POSSIBLE TO SEE THAT THERE IS A DEEP GROOVE WORN INTO THE TIRE WHICH IS WELL BELOW THE LEVEL OF THE TREAD ON THE UNDAMAGED PORTION OF THE TIRE. IT IS ALMOST CERTAIN THAT THIS DAMAGE WAS CAUSED WHILST THE CAR WAS STILL ROLLING FORWARD AND WAS MOST LIKELY TO HAVE BEEN THE CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT. THERE IS A PATTERN OF FAILURE IN THE TESLA WHICH SEEMS TO BE CAUSED BY WEAK ALLOY SUSPENSION COMPONENTS. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER.
