Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. IN ADDITION, WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS ON AN INCLINE AND THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED TO GO FORWARD, THE VEHICLE WOULD GO IN REVERSE. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CDT TRANSMISSION FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 135,000.
