Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AN UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE HAD NO OIL. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD EXPERIENCED EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION AND CONFIRMED THE VEHICLE LOST A QUART OF OIL EVERY 1,000 MILES HOWEVER A REMEDY HAD NOT BEEN DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE HAD OIL ADDED TO THE ENGINE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 86,000.
