Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ALTERNATOR WAS DEFECTIVE. THE ENGINE FAILED TO START NUMEROUS TIMES AND THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO PERFORMED DIAGNOSTIC TESTING THAT LOCATED A FAILURE CODE AT THE ALTERNATOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,400.
