TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN VUE. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE TRACTION WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE STEERING WHEEL REQUIRED A LOT MORE FORCE TO MANEUVER. THE FAILURE RECURRED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9,000.
