Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 RAM 3500. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, IT CAUGHT ON FIRE. PRIOR TO THE FIRE, THERE WAS NO SMOKE OR ABNORMAL ODOR IN THE VEHICLE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FIRE ORIGINATED FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 30,000. UPDATED 05/10/16*LJ *TR
