Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CADILLAC SRX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER SIDE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT FAILED TO ILLUMINATE. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS WATER INTRUSION AND THAT THE LIGHT FIXTURE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER DID NOT SPECIFY IF A SEAL FRACTURED OR IF THERE WAS A REMEDY FOR THE SHORT CIRCUIT ELECTRICAL FAILURE OTHER THAN REPLACING THE LOW BEAM HEAD LAMP ASSEMBLY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INDICATED THAT THERE WAS NO MANUFACTURER RECALL TO COVER THE REPAIR. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 43,000.
