Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HYUNDAI SONATA. WHILE EXITING THE VEHICLE AT 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, BUT COULD NOT BE RESTARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE SEIZED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 4,000.
