TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 GMC ACADIA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE WAVE PLATE IN THE TRANSMISSION WAS TOO THIN AND CAUSED THE TRANSMISSION TO FAIL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 133,046.
