Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO TURN THE VEHICLE OFF, THE KEY REMAINED IN THE ACCESSORY POSITION. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BUTTON ON THE GEAR SHIFTER BECAME LOOSE AND FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V373000 (AIR BAGS, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
