2008 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE AIR FILTER LEAKAGE AND ENGINE HYDRAULIC HOSE ISSUES. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND IT GOT TO THE POINT, WHERE IT STARTED FLASHING. AN ASSOCIATE AT AN AUTO PARTS STORE, INFORMED THE CONSUMER, IF THE AIR FILTER DID NOT WORK, THERE WAS A POSSIBILITY THE HYDRAULIC HOSE TO THE LINE OF THE ENGINE COULD BREAK AND CAUSE OIL TO CLOG THE ENGINE. *JB
