Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT DUE TO POOR DESIGN OF THE VEHICLE, THE SHIFTER WOULD EASILY SHIFT INTO REVERSE INSTEAD OF PARK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE CONTACT, WHO WAS A MECHANIC, STATED THAT THE DESIGN PRESENTED A SAFETY ISSUE BUT THE VEHICLE WAS WORKING UP TO SPECIFICATIONS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,500.
