TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE CONTACT APPLIED THE BRAKES AND THE VEHICLE DRIFTED BACKWARDS AND THE REAR END LOCKED UP. THE CONTACT APPLIED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE. THE CONTACT RESEARCHED A RECALL RELATED TO THE REAR AXLE PINION NUT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE AND THEN TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED, BUT NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
