Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CADILLAC CTS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A PUDDLE OF OIL WAS FOUND UNDER THE ENGINE AREA. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE OIL PAN GASKET WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000.
