Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE IGNITION WAS TURNED ON WITH THE STARTER KEY, AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC THAT WAS NEAR INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS SLIPPING. THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND INFORMED THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP ALSO NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE TRANSMISSION SLIPPED AND THE POWER STEERING PUMP FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 19,700.
