Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE VEHICLE HESITATED AND THERE WAS A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT ON ANOTHER OCCASION, THE FAILURE RECURRED ACCOMPANIED BY AN ABNORMAL NOISE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 15V467000 (AIR BAGS AND SEAT BELTS) AND 14V634000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) HOWEVER, THE PARTS TO DO THE REPAIRS WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
