Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD VIBRATE AND THE FRONT WHEELS WOULD WOBBLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR INSPECTION. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 10V657000 (STEERING) HOWEVER, THE RECALL REMEDY FAILED TO FIX THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 48,000.
