Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT THE DEALER FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TIE RODS WERE WORN OUT AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS, THE TIE RODS WERE REPLACED. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V529000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,000.
