Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR CONDITIONING HOSE DRAINED ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE SUBFRAME, WHICH CAUSED THE SUBFRAME TO RUST WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRAME NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND THAT THE FAILURE WAS A COMMON ISSUE WITH FORD VEHICLES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 192,000.
