Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE POWER STEERING SEIZED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THIS WAS A RECURRING FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 76,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
