TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 JEEP COMMANDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE PARKED, THE VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY SHIFTED INTO DRIVE WITHOUT THE BRAKE PEDAL BEING DEPRESSED AND ALL THE GEAR SHIFT INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 78,000.
