Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE RAM 3500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHOOK VIOLENTLY AND VEERED FROM THE LEFT TO THE RIGHT LANE WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V529000 (STEERING) BUT THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS LATER TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE LINK BUSHINGS FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 37,800.
