TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 VOLVO V70. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR ROUTINE INSPECTION, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE FUEL PUMP WAS FRACTURED AND LEAKING DUE TO DEFECTIVE MATERIAL. THE FUEL PUMP WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 09V483000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 106,000.
