Consumer Description

INSPECTION BY AUTO REPAIR FACILITY (BROOKHAVEN AUTOMOTIVE, NORMAN OKLAHOMA) REVEALED DRIVER AND PASSENGER AIR BAGS WERE NOT WORKING, ALONG WITH HORN AND SPEED CONTROL UNIT. CLOCK SPRING AND SPIRAL CABLE KIT FOUND INOPERATIVE AND REPLACED BY FACILITY AT COST OF $339 (PARTS & LABOR) TO CONSUMER. THE SPIRAL CABLE UNIT WAS SUBJECT PREVIOUSLY TO RECALL AND WAS SO REPLACED AT NO CHARGE BY FOWLER TOYOTA, NORMAN OKLAHOMA, ON 12/02/14. SHOULDN'T THESE SAFETY DEFECTS BE COVERED BY THE MANUFACTURER?
