Consumer Description

I WAS MOVING VERY SLOWLY IN THE SECOND FROM RIGHT LANE ON ROUTE 287 IN NEW JERSEY. IN MY ATTEMPT TO CHANGE INTO THE FAR RIGHT LANE TO BE IN MY EXIT LANE I ACCELERATED HEAVILY. THE ENGINE SURGED AND MADE NOISE APPROPRIATE FOR THE SITUATION BUT DID NOT ACTUALLY ENGAGE IN MOVING THE VEHICLE FOR APPROXIMATELY 1-3 SECONDS. THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. JEEP DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN ADVISED. THANK YOU.
