Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 BUICK ENCLAVE. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THERE WAS A BURNING ODOR AND THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 167,000. UPDATED 7/28/15*CN THE CONSUMER CONTINUED TO GET AN ERROR MESSAGE FROM THE BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM. THE BATTERY AND THE ALTERNATOR WERE REPLACED. UPDATED 08/11/15*JB
