Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD TAURUS. AFTER DRIVING THE VEHICLE, A STRONG ABNORMAL ODOR EMITTED FROM THE HOOD. WHEN THE CONTACT OPENED THE HOOD, THE STEAM WAS SO HOT THAT HE COULD NOT TOUCH THE RADIATOR HOSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE WATER PUMP WAS PLACED IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION FROM PREVIOUS OLDER MODELS CAUSING THE RADIATOR TO EMIT HIGHER HEAT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 300. UPDATED 5/11/15*CN
