Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO ACCELERATE, THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED SEVERE VIBRATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE MOTOR MOUNTS WERE FAULTY. THE TOP MOTOR MOUNTS WERE REPLACED, BUT THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO EXPERIENCE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,000.
