Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 PONTIAC GRAND AM. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE IGNITION KEY INADVERTENTLY MOVED INTO THE OFF POSITION AND THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESTART. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO STATED THAT THE IGNITION SWITCH WAS FAULTY. THE VEHICLE WAS CURRENTLY BEING REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000.
