Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE DURANGO. WHILE APPROACHING A STOP LIGHT, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE THROTTLE NEEDED TO BE CLEANED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE EGR VALVE, THE SPARK PLUGS, AND THE TRANSMISSION FLUID HOWEVER THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE THROTTLE BODY BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,900. UPDATED 4/13/15*CN THE CONSUMER STATED THE COOLER LINE WAS LEAKING. UPDATED 04/16/15*JB
