Consumer Description

I WAS DRIVING HOME TURNING INTO MY SUBDIVISION AND MY POWER STEERING WENT OUT AND I HAD TO USE ALL OF MY MIGHT TO MAKE THE TURN. I PREVIOUSLY HAD THE POWER STEERING RECALL PERFORMED 4 MONTHS PRIOR. I CALLED UP THE FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID IT IS NOT COVERED BY FORD, ONLY THE SOFTWARE UPDATE THEY DID ON THE RECALL. THIS IS AWFUL OF FORD MOTOR COMPANY ESPECIALLY AFTER WHAT HAS HAPPENED WITH GENERAL MOTORS. IF I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY, IT COULD HAVE BEEN FATAL. *JS
