Consumer Description

DURING COLD WINTER MONTHS IN MICHIGAN, THERE IS A GRINDING NOISE FOR ABOUT 2 SECONDS WHEN FIRST STARTING THE VEHICLE. TOOK IT TO HONDA DEALER AND THEY CONTACTED AMERICAN HONDA WHO TOLD THEM THAT THIS WAS A "NORMAL PROBLEM" WITH CR-VS APPARENTLY DUE TO THE OIL PUMP NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. AMERICAN HONDA WAS CONTACTED AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY ARE AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM BUT HAVE NOT INDICATED ANY SOLUTION. *TR
