Consumer Description
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE ATTEMPTING TO OPERATE THE VEHICLE FORWARD OR IN REVERSE, A LOUD NOISE WAS HEARD AND A WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTICE OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V355000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
