Consumer Description

THE STRIPES OVER THE TOP OF THE BODYWORK HAVE CORRODED AND THIS IS THE 2ND REPLACEMENT OF THEM. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE FOR THE MANUFACTURER, FORD AND ORCAL. THIS IS COMMON TO SHELBY GTS FROM 2007 AND AFFECTED CARS IN CALIFORNIA. THEY HAVE DECIDED TO NOT WARRANTY IT AND ARE FORCING OWNERS TO REPLACE. THIS IS A 5000 DOLLARS, IN SOME CASES, ISSUE. THIS IS THE 2ND TIME I HAVE HAD THEM REPLACED AND IT IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CARE OF THE VEHICLE. FOLLOWING THEIR INSTRUCTIONS, I HAD THE SAME RESULTS.
