Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE TIE ROD BECAME DETACHED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIE ROD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
