TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD F SERIES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL BEGAN MELTING DUE TO SUN EXPOSURE. HE ALSO STATED THAT THE SEAT BELT WAS INOPERABLE. THE DEALER STATED THAT NOTHING COULD BE DONE BECAUSE THE WARRANTY EXPIRED. IN ADDITION, THERE WERE NO OPEN RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 165,000.
