Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE GEAR LEVER WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF THE PARK POSITION UNTIL THE GEAR LEVER HOUSING WAS DISMANTLED TO ADJUST THE NECESSARY CABLE FOR THE LEVER TO OPERATE PROPERLY. THE FAILURE OCCURRED CONTINUOUSLY. THE VIN WAS EXCLUDED FROM NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 08V583000 (POWER TRAIN). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,082.
