TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHEVROLET AVALANCHE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DASHBOARD FRACTURED AND SEPARATED, WHICH CREATED SHARP EDGES. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE SEPARATION WAS LOCATED NEAR THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,500.
