Consumer Description
TWICE IN EARLY FEBRUARY, 2014, THE ENGINE (V-6) STOPPED RUNNING AND THE CEL POPPED UP. THE FIRST TIME I WAS CRUISING AT 50 MPH AND THE CEL CAME ON AND THE RPM WENT TO ZERO, BUT AS I COASTED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD THE ENGINE RESTARTED BY ITSELF AT ABOUT 40 MPH, SO IT WAS OFF FOR LESS THAN 10-15 SECONDS. THE SECOND TIME, I WAS BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE. AFTER MOVING ABOUT 6 FEET THE ENGINE DIED AND THE TACH WENT TO ZERO AND THE CEL CAME ON. I TURNED EVERYTHING OFF AND RESTARTED THE ENGINE AND CONTINUED WITH MY ERRANDS. IN BOTH INSTANCES THE ENGINE WAS AT OPERATING TEMPERATURE AND THE FUEL TANK HAD AT LEAST 10 GALLONS. THE DEALER CHECKED THE CAR BUT FOUND NO CODES TO IDENTIFY THIS PROBLEM. *TR
